The Prison Support Coordinator provides a range of support services to federal inmates living with HIV/AIDS at the Joyceville Correctional Centre, Bath and Millhaven Institutions and attached RTC facilities, Pittsburgh Institution, Collins Bay medium and max security, and the Frontenac Institution.

In addition, support services are offered to the Quinte and Brockville Provincial Prisons. The following confidential services are offered through the Prison Support program:

  • Counselling
  • Education
  • Advocacy
  • Medical referrals and referrals to other community agencies
  • Group work
  • Networking with other community agencies

We also assist with:

  • Pre-release planning
  • Housing applications
  • Disability pensions
  • General support for those infected, affected, or at risk of contracting HIV/AIDS and HEP C.
